This past season spirituality is definitely hot…sharing one's inner feelings and expressing love to all our family in our crazy day-to-day lifestyle seems to be something we forget to acknowledge.

During the ceremony…more and more songs and readings are being done to give insight to the couple. Special songs to signify the couples background or love are shared. The ceremonies are very original incorporating religious ceremonies that are close to the couple's heart…Couples take more time to piece together this special bonding and all traditions in each religion seemed to be shared. Glasses broken (from Jewish religion) rose petals thrown (from Hindu culture) to name a couple.

In May at the ceremony of Robin and Lorne Ray, the following Prayer was shared expressing their unique love:

Dear God, Yes, YOU are not seeing things-Robin has finally taken the plunge and decided to get married not only to her soul mate but a Man who will climb every mountain to give her the World and the Universe. This is a time to share beliefs, love and laughter to all that surround us…our family, our friends, our love ones that passed, and our guardian angels. Life is full of challenges, meaning, and paths. And when we stumble across someone that rocks our world-its time to celebrate! God, thank you for bringing Robin to Lorne. We acknowledge your love and blessings you have constantly showered unto this couple. We ask for your continued strength and wisdom to surround Robin and Lorne from now and till their 100th Wedding Anniversary. And with these words we all say AMEN

This time is sometimes harder than you can imagine expressing words during the pounding of one's heart. So many times our voices turn into a squeaky sound or words come out slower or faster than normal but when one's emotions take over and you are surrounded by loved ones…anything you say or how it comes out is exactly how it should be and is more than breath taking. This couple has become such an incredible bond of love and how lucky I am to share in their Joy and love.
